No experience required after registration with HPCSA in the relevant profession in respect of RSA qualified employees who performed community service, as required in South Africa. One year experience after registration with HPCSA in the relevant profession in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform community service, as required in South Africa Grade 2: Minimum of 10 years experience after registration with HPCSA in the relevant profession in respect of RSA qualified employees who performed community service, as required in South Africa. Minimum of eleven years experience after registration with HPCSA in the relevant profession in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform community service, as required in South Africa Grade 3: Minimum of 20 years experience after registration with HPCSA in the relevant profession in respect of RSA qualified employees who performed community service, as required in South Africa. Minimum of 21 years experience after registration with HPCSA in the relevant profession in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform community service, as required in South Africa Senior Certificate or equivalent National Diploma in Ultrasound / Bachelors Degree in Technology: Ultrasound Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Radiographer (Ultrasound) Current registration with HPCSA for 2023/2024 in the category Independent Practice Ultrasound NB! DUTIES : Provide a high quality ultrasound service in keeping with tertiary status of the hospital: general scans with complicated pathology and detailed Obstetric scans Provide correct interpretation of all ultrasound scans Compile comprehensive reports as required in the working environment Provide assistance, supervision and training to junior staff and students, including 339 medical personnel Provide good health practices and ensure optimal care of the patient Execute all clinical procedures competently to prevent complications Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programmes, policy making, in-service training and National Core Standards.
