Requirements for DPSA Deputy Director General Tax And Financial Sector :-

A Grade 12 is required coupled with a minimum post-graduate qualification (equivalent to NQF level 8) as required by SAQA in any of the following disciplines: Economics, Law or Accounting. A minimum 8-10 years’ experience at a senior managerial level obtained within the tax and/or financial sector policy environment. Knowledge of the development of tax instruments within government or a tax specialist institutional environment. Knowledge and experience of the broader tax policy framework. Knowledge and experience of the PFMA and Treasury Regulations. Successful completion of the Nyukela Public Service Senior Management Leadership Programme as endorsed by the National School of Government available as an online course on https://www.thensg.gov.za/training-course/sms-pre-entry-programme/, prior to finalisation of an appointment.
