Requirements for DPSA Assistant Manager Nursing :-

Basic qualification accredited with the SANC in terms of Government Notice R425 (i.e. Diploma/ Degree in Nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with the SANC as a Professional Nurse. A minimum of 8 years appropriate/recognizable experience in Nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with SANC in General Nursing. At least 3 years of the period referred to above must be appropriate/ recognizable experience at Management level. A Diploma/ Degree in Nursing Administration. Strong leadership skills, Basic Computer skills, good communication and interpersonal relation skills, problem solving, conflict resolution skills and ability to work under pressure. Sound knowledge of National Core Standards Nursing Strategy, PFMA, Labour relations and other related legislative framework.
